July 10th Update:
Despite dire predictions of thunder and lightning storms, the weather turned out to be quite cooperative. Though we had a little sprinkle in the morning the sun actually shown most of the day. The wind was a little less cooperative midday when it decided to reverse direction. All the kite events went off without a hitch. Large numbers of flyers both novice and expert came out to fill the sky with all those amazing kites. All in all, it was a great day! Sunday the forecast looks even better, so we hope to see you there. Have fun, go fly a kite.
